We live in a world full of questions. A lot of which we don’t have the answer to. Often times we are left asking: Is there purpose to life? The answer, YES!
There is good news.
Romans 10:9 says: “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
HE RESCUED
God loved you so much that He refuses to leave you broken and hurting. He wants a personal relationship with you, so He performed the greatest act of love ever portrayed. To rescue us, God sent his son, Jesus, to be perfect love in human flesh both God and man on this Earth. Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, but because Jesus loved you He willingly died on a cross for your sins and suffered so that you wouldn’t have to.
IN SHORT: HE DIED IN YOUR PLACE.
BUT EVEN DEATH COULD NOT HOLD JESUS DOWN.
Jesus defeated death and sin once and for all. And on the third day He rose from the grave. Jesus is alive. His victory nows gives us freedom from the bondage of sin and death! Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves and made a way back to God where there was no way. Jesus is the way to freedom. Jesus is the way to LIFE. Jesus is hope. He is the only way.
THIS IS THE GOSPEL, THE GOOD NEWS.
SALVATION
To be made whole and redeemed. To be freed from our addictions, hurts, insecurities, fears, anxieties. When we submit to Jesus and give our life to Him, we have relationship with God. You can have relationship with God. There is hope, and His name is Jesus. Salvation is a free gift to us, we don’t have to earn it, and we most definitely don’t deserve it. Nothing else is needed but a simple humble prayer…
Jesus,
I want to be saved. I want to live in the hope and freedom that you offer me. I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness. I believe that You loved me so much that You came to die on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the dead to defeat all sin and death once and for all. I accept Your love and grace for me and ask that You would be my Lord. Help me believe in You, and help me to show the world who you are and how great Your love is .
